When PC trumps Common Sense, death happens

There was a fire in Cicero last night and seven people died and three firefighters were wounded battling the four alarm blaze.  It could have been avoided.  In 1991, the city of Cicero tried to tighten up its occupancy limits and was sued by the federal government (who won) because the federal government felt that lower occupancy limits would discriminate against hispanics.  Apparently Cicero fought this for several years but finally signed an agreement with the feds.  (Sun-Times article here).
