Why must EVERYTHING be an attack??

The White House is miffed that the insurance companies have released a report that shows that the 'health care reform' plan would cost households an extra $1700/year than if the government does nothing. Of course 'supporters of Obama' characterize this as sabotage to the their plan, since like, well, telling the truth that interferes with their pipe dreams HAS to be an attack.

It's interesting to note in the article that the America's Health Insurance Plans lobby group spent $10 MILLION on advertising touting the plan but is backing off at the last minute. It's interesting that this lobby group HAS $10 million to spend on advertising.

The Senate Finance committee is supposed to vote on the Baucus plan which, to the best of my knowledge, hasn't been released to the public. At least I can't find one, even using the Thomas search engine. As with most things, if they are trying to keep this bad boy secret, then they are trying to pull a fast one--keeping the text of the bill out of the hands of those who actually might read it and provide an analysis.

Will they learn that playing this 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain' and 'we're from the government, we're here to help' just doesn't work anymore?? The wool has been removed from the eyes of the American public and the media can't control the populace anymore by controlling the flow of information. What's more, the American majority is tired of being treated like small children with those WE ELECTED acting as paternalistic nannies rather than being conduits for the will of the people.
