Seems that a bunch of reporters are getting the crap kicked out of them in Egypt. One might say that it's an occupational hazard--that's why they get paid the big bucks to bring the ratings home to their respective companies. I'm also thinking that in certain cases... *cough.. Anderson Cooper... cough* that they've started believing their own press and feel that they are untouchable. Angry crowds in Egypt are a far cry from the 'great unwashed' of Middle America even though they try to tar both with the same penchant for violence. In any case, their whining just shows that the talking heads really don't understand the term 'situational awareness'.
ETA: They've spent so much time screaming about racism and oppression in America that they really can't handle it when they see REAL oppression and silencing of communication in Egypt.
