Media Misdirection

Larry Anderson over at American Thinker has a fantastic piece on values, justice, and truth.  I like the article but I think that he's missing a crucial piece in his 'Values' section.  He blames the American public for the media blitz about Tiger Woods because he says that this is what the public is buying, so that's what they are selling.  Okay, now I'm firmly putting on my tin-foil hat on this one.  His hypothesis is dependent upon basic supply/demand and doesn't take into account the fact that the mainstream media is a partner in the socialist policies that the government is trying to ram down the throats of the American people.

I think what he's missing is that the mainstream media is pushing the Tiger Woods story to AVOID mentioning Climategate, the health care bill, or the TSA bandying about crucial security documents.  It's a classic play from the Communist handbook--keep the public thinking about trivialities and no one will notice what's going on with the man behind the curtain.

The rest of his piece brings up some interesting points and the whole thing is well worth the read.  We need to bring back the concepts of true Justice and Truth, not what they've been corrupted to be through our legal system and by those who would use our virtures against us.
