I've linked to an article by Stephen Green from April 18, 2009. In it he discusses the Saul Alinsky handbook and Anderson Cooper's use of the derogatory term for Tea Party Protesters. What brought this particular article to mind was a story I was told yesterday by B. I'll let him tell the whole thing if he wants. I just wanted to remind the world that the only thing that keeps you from getting punched in the head when you use a derisive term in a smarmy tone of voice is the impuse control of the person at whom you are directing your venom.
Impulse control is the most highly underrated and valuable virtue in our society.
